Cadillac Seville Digital Dash Repair - How I Fixed Mine

Here is a picture of how I was able to fix the digital dash on my 1992 Seville. I will do more of a write-up on this when I get a chance.

I was careful to remove the cluster fuses at the trunk fuse block, and the air bag fuse and yellow connector at the base of the steering column. I replaced the cluster fuses once I had it connected. Then I started the vehicle and went around the cluster using a hair dryer to see if I could reproduce the problem. Once I did, I used freeze spray to see if this would correct the problem. I found the problem to the "blinking" cluster was a bad solder joint at one of the microproccessors (see above). I resoldered the joint and it's been good ever since.
